Problem: How might we help families be aware of allergens and cross-contamination on their cooking surfaces?
Main Tasks: to accomplish our goal of helping families keep track of allergens used and prevent cross contamination, our system must be capable of:
- Defining a designated cooking area to track changes in
- Defining what allergens/ingredients to be aware of
- Track these specific allergens: know when they are present or absent
- Communicating with the user the state of the area (safe or unsafe)
Intended Users: Families or groups with one or more allergies who may still use “unsafe” ingredients to cook, but need to know that the allergen-free food is safe to eat
